These Terms of Service govern your use of the Bread Chateau website and your purchase of products and catering services from Bread Chateau, operated by Midwest Growth Food LLC. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies referenced herein.
1. Our Services
Bread Chateau provides freshly prepared baked goods, beverages, presentation equipment, local delivery, setup, and scheduled equipment pickup for funeral receptions, memorial services, visitations, and related gatherings.
Our services are currently available only at participating funeral homes and approved delivery locations within our service area.
2. Participating Funeral Homes
Customers must select a participating funeral home when placing an order. If a funeral home or delivery location is not listed on our website, online ordering is not currently available for that location.
At checkout, customers must enter the selected funeral home’s address as the delivery address. Orders submitted with a different or unapproved address may be canceled.
Participating funeral homes provide a location where the service may be delivered but are not the seller of Bread Chateau products. Bread Chateau independently manages ordering, payment, preparation, delivery, customer communication, and equipment pickup.

Bread Chateau is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or other problems caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the customer.
4. Ordering Time and Availability
Orders should be placed at least 48 hours before the requested service date whenever possible.
Short-notice orders may be accepted depending on product availability, production capacity, delivery scheduling, and funeral-home access. Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance until payment is authorized and the order is confirmed.
Bread Chateau may decline or cancel an order that cannot reasonably be prepared or delivered as requested. If Bread Chateau cancels an accepted order, the customer will receive a full refund for the affected order.
5. Minimum Order
A minimum purchase of $60 is required for complimentary delivery. Orders that do not meet the minimum purchase requirement may not qualify for checkout or delivery.
6. Prices, Payments, and Taxes
Prices are displayed in United States dollars and may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed.
Payment is due when the order is submitted. Payments are processed through Shopify and its authorized payment providers.
Applicable sales taxes and other legally required charges may be calculated and added at checkout.
7. Product Descriptions and Photographs
We make reasonable efforts to describe and present our products accurately. Because food products are prepared and arranged by hand, actual products may vary slightly in color, shape, size, arrangement, and appearance.
Product photographs may include concept presentations or representative images. Minor visual differences do not constitute a defective or incorrect product.
8. Food Allergies and Dietary Concerns
Customers are responsible for reviewing the allergen information provided on each product page before ordering.
Bread Chateau products may contain or come into contact with wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, or other allergens. Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products are not prepared in an allergen-free facility.
Customers with food allergies, intolerances, or special dietary concerns should contact Bread Chateau before placing an order. We cannot guarantee that any product will be completely free from allergens or cross-contact.
9. Hot Beverages and Food Handling
Hot beverages may cause burns if spilled or handled improperly. Customers, guests, funeral-home personnel, and other users are responsible for exercising appropriate care when dispensing, carrying, or consuming hot beverages.
After delivery and setup, the customer and delivery location are responsible for reasonable supervision, serving, and handling of the food and beverages until Bread Chateau returns to collect the equipment.
10. Returnable Service Equipment
Presentation baskets, acrylic covers, thermal beverage dispensers, water baskets, and serving tongs are reusable service equipment and remain the property of Bread Chateau.
These items must remain at the funeral home or approved delivery location after the service so Bread Chateau can collect them at the scheduled pickup time.
A $50 replacement fee applies to each equipment set that is missing, removed, or damaged. By accepting the Returnable Equipment Policy in the cart, the customer acknowledges responsibility for this replacement fee.
11. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, refunds, incorrect orders, quality concerns, and damaged products are governed by our Return, Cancellation, and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service.
Customers should review that policy before completing a purchase.
12. Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful personal or business purposes related to viewing, ordering, or obtaining information about Bread Chateau products and services.
You may not:

Attempt to interfere with the website’s security or operation

Copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without authorization

We may restrict or terminate access to the website when misuse, fraud, or unlawful activity is suspected.
13. Intellectual Property
The Bread Chateau name, branding, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, website content, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Midwest Growth Food LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.
14. Third-Party Services
Our website is hosted by Shopify, and payments or other features may be provided by third-party service providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the applicable provider.
Bread Chateau is not responsible for outages, processing delays, or technical failures caused by Shopify, payment providers, internet services, or other third parties beyond our reasonable control.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bread Chateau and Midwest Growth Food LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, products, or services.
For any claim relating to an order, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Events Beyond Our Control
Bread Chateau is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, power outages, equipment failures, supply interruptions, government actions, emergencies, or funeral-home access restrictions.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and provide an appropriate resolution when such circumstances affect an accepted order.
18. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively and will not alter the terms applicable to an order already accepted unless required by law.
